CCE Family Involvement Plan

Campbell Court Family Involvement Plan

In order for students to achieve academic success, it is crucial for them to have support at school and at home.

In keeping with these beliefs, it is the intention of Campbell Court Elementary School to cultivate and support active parental involvement in student learning.  Campbell Court Elementary School will involve parents in the following ways:

  • Using School Messenger notices, notes home, emailed newsletters, and updated websites to keep families informed of opportunities for involvement and to encourage participation in various programs held during the school year.
  • Providing access to educational resources and providing training for parents and families on strategies to help at home with math and reading
  • Keeping families informed of the objectives of division educational programs as well as of their child’s participation and progress with these programs

Campbell Court Elementary will work to enable families to participate in the education of their children through a variety of roles.  For example, family members may

  • volunteer time within the classroom and school program

  • serve on the School Improvement team

We will work to include parents who do not speak English by providing information in a language understandable to parents via School Messenger and through flyers sent home.

In addition, for parents of students eligible for EL programs, Campbell Court Elementary School will inform such parents of how they can be active participants in assisting their children

  • to learn English;
  • to achieve at high levels in core academic subjects; and
  • to meet the same challenging academic content and student academic achievement standards as all children are expected to meet.
